Welcome To Dream Team

Dream Team

Let’s get this out of the way first: Dream Team is NOT Upwork, Fiverr, or any other freelance marketplace.

We killed freelancing in favor of DreamTeaming.

We are, as our name ever so subtly implies, a team. And a pretty amazing one at that (ahem, dream).

How everything started.

It all started with Jake Frey, who — as a designer — just happened to build a little app called Fancy, which these little-known West Coast companies called Apple and Google called one of the best apps of the year.

So that was cool.

Jake then founded an agency that took on some of the lesser-known local clients such as Snapchat, Hermès, Shopify, and Kanye West (who is apparently, and we had to look it up, a one-time candidate for U.S. Presidency; good for him, may get the guy some national recognition).

As for Jake, he’s apparently allergic to taking credit for anything, so he keeps lifting up the people around him, claiming that working on a team of super-talented professionals creates the most extraordinary work and is fun for everyone involved. Strange ideas, right?

One of the first super-talented people that Jake invited to join him on the Dream Team was Fabrizia Zanca. Fabrizia is from Italy and lives in Catalonia, which already qualifies her to be a DreamTeamer. But her actual qualifications are truly extraordinary: with a decade of experience in the HR space, Fabrizia is the expert on remote jobs and careers. She even teaches courses on it. With her background in Organizational and Work Psychology, Fabrizia is the oracle of spotting DreamTeamers in the making and finding clients (and gigs) that are perfect for the amazing talent within the Dream Team.

A Dream Team needs a voice that dares to dream and act big without taking himself too seriously.

This we found in David Kieve, a comedy writer whose big punchline at the Dream Team was to kill freelancing and competing in favor of DreamTeaming and collaborating. David loves hosting dinner jams, building communities all over the world (Chiang Mai, Kyiv, Philadelphia, and more), and writing songs that will get stuck in your ear forever. He also plays street hockey, if you’re ever up for a game.

How are we different.

We could go on and on about each DreamTeamer (and maybe we will at a later time or in special blog posts), but the most important part about us is that we are much bigger than the sum of our incredibly talented and easy-to-work-with parts.

We are diverse, because talent knows no borders, skin color, gender, orientation, religion, body shape, etc.

Code has no accent.

Design is as universal as music.

We are already smashing all stereotypes about where quality work must come from or how experts from lower GDP economies must charge less to compete.

Talent is talent.

And the DreamTeam is bursting with it.

In short, we are masters of our skills. We are great to each other. And we are working on the most interesting projects out there, with more amazing clients coming to us every day.

Do you dream of being part of such a team or have a gig for it?

Then please, reach out. We are nice.
